 Evaluate the suitability of using a wireframe diagram for the planning of a website home page. 

Wireframe diagrams are very effective for the planning of a website homepage. This is because it allows the production team to get a general idea of what the website will look like before it is made. This is important as it gives the design team an idea of what to create and how, allowing them to assess their work and the effectiveness of the layout as they create it. It also ensures that if multiple people are working on the design of the website homepage, they both have the same vision of what it will look like so that there aren't any conflicting ideas during production. Wireframe diagrams are also the most effective way to show the client what the website homepage will look like during the planning stage. Although sitemaps are effective in showing what pages will be linked to the homepage, wireframe diagrams show a much more accurate representation of what the homepage will look like, making it more useful for the client as they can assess whether it fits their brief accurately.
